1. Data we collect from everyone
- Account data: Name, email address, phone number (where you give it), and sign-in details. Passwords are stored hashed. If you use Google sign-in, we receive your name, email and profile photo from Google.
- Usage and device data: Pages visited, features used, login activity, browser and device type, and approximate location from your network. We use this to run, secure and improve the platform.
- Messages to us: Anything you send us by email or WhatsApp, including support requests.
2. Students: what we collect
- Profile data: Education, skills, experience, projects, certificates, profile photo and the details you add to your resume.
- Resume and documents: Resumes you build or upload on Auroskkil.
- Learning activity: MCQ test results, technical assignment submissions, points (XP), interview practice and your leaderboard rank.
- Job activity: Jobs you view, apply to or share, applications you confirm, and comments you post on job listings.
- Career preferences: Skills you self-report, interview counts you enter and whether you are open to non-IT roles. We use these for AI Match.
- Free session form: Name, WhatsApp number, college, graduation year and target role, when you join our free live session.
- Payment records: If you enrol in a paid program, we receive the payment screenshot and details you send on WhatsApp (amount, date, UTR / transaction ID). We do not collect or store your card, bank or UPI PIN details.
How we use student data
- Create and manage your account, profile and resume
- Show you relevant jobs and compute AI Match results, placement probability and skill-gap suggestions
- Generate application emails and run AI-powered features such as mock interviews and AI job search
- Track your applications, test scores and leaderboard position
- Run the free live session, the 30-Day Interview Launch Program, and verify your payment
- Send job alerts, program updates and account messages
Who can see student data
- Registered company (HR) accounts can see your profile, resume, projects, certificates, skills and contact details, and can chat or email you. Companies you apply to receive the details you send them.
- Your short name (first name and last initial) and points appear on the public leaderboard. Your comments on job listings show your name.
- If you appear in our Success Stories (for example a placement result, offer letter or interview email), we only show it with your permission. Contact us to have it removed.
- On public pages, recruiter contact details are hidden. They unlock only after you sign in and apply.
3. Companies: what we collect
- Company and HR data: Company name, HR name, designation, official email, phone, LinkedIn, location and industry.
- Job postings: Job titles, descriptions, skills, salary, location and other details of openings you post.
- Hiring activity: Applicants you review, candidates you shortlist, messages and emails you send to students through the platform.
How we use company data
- Verify and manage your company account

- Let you review applicants, view student profiles and resumes, chat and email candidates
- Show you applicant counts and hiring activity in your dashboard
- Contact you about your account, postings and platform changes
Who can see company data
- Your company name, job title, salary, location and job description are shown publicly to students and visitors.
- Your HR name, email, phone and LinkedIn are visible to signed-in students who view or apply to your job. They are hidden from public visitors.
- Messages and emails you send to students are delivered to those students.
Your responsibilities as a company
Student data you access on Auroskkil is shared with you only to evaluate and contact candidates for genuine job openings. You must not sell it, share it with third parties, send spam or misleading offers, charge students for jobs, or use it for any purpose unrelated to hiring. You are responsible for handling any student data you download or receive in line with applicable Indian law. We may suspend accounts that misuse student data.
4. We do not sell your data
We do not sell personal data of students or companies. We share data only as described in this Policy, with service providers who help us run the platform, or when the law requires.
5. Service providers we use
- Supabase: database, authentication and file storage
- Vercel: hosting, analytics and performance monitoring
- Google Firebase / Google sign-in: optional sign-in with Google
- Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel: usage measurement and marketing
- AI service providers: to generate emails, interview practice, search filters and job matching. We send only what is needed for the request.
- Email and WhatsApp: to communicate with you when you contact us or use these channels
These providers process data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside India. We may also disclose data if required by Indian law, a court or a government authority, or to prevent fraud and harm.
6. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember short-lived choices (for example a pending sign-in redirect or a dismissed popup) and understand platform usage. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel measure traffic and marketing performance. You can block cookies in your browser, but some features may stop working.
7. Payments
Paid programs are paid by UPI. You scan our QR code in your own UPI app, so we never see your UPI PIN, card or bank login. We keep the payment screenshot and transaction details you send us on WhatsApp so we can verify your payment and confirm your enrolment.
8. How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account is active and as long as needed to provide the service. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except records we must keep for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention reasons.
9. Your rights and choices

- Withdraw consent for optional uses, such as marketing messages or featuring you in Success Stories
Companies can likewise ask us to access, correct or delete their account and posted jobs. To use any of these rights, email us from your registered email address. We may need to verify your identity first.
10. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards: encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls and secure infrastructure through Supabase and Vercel. No online service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and do not share your login. If you believe your account is compromised, tell us immediately.
11. Children
Auroskkil is meant for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as the platform changes. When we make important changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you on the platform or by email.
